loop

digital design, identity design
Working with Director Brenton Geisler, I developed an identity for the Unimate, a fictional social media company in a sci-fi film, Loop (2025). The company serves as a foil to the film’s main protagonist, meant to represent a possible bleak reality to what could happen with our social media giants of today.

Initially, we aimed to find the right feel for the Unimate, what an office would look like, how they might brand their product. The idea was to evoke a company that had a simulated feel of what people might find friendly or comforting, with a bit of an edge.

After defining a rough concept and landing on the idea of a fingerprint-like logo, I developed the logo and wordmark together, arriving at the final iteration.

The final concept included an optional blur, as a indication that not all was as it seems.
