made with the UME Collective
A series of online workshops conducted at the height of COVID to help the leaders of the MINA Foundation develop organizational tools and ways of working across the globe.
Working with the MINA Foundation’s leaders, we created a digital suite of tools optimized for working with a global team, making the tools accessible to all levels—the managers who would need them and their direct reports who would be interacting with them, sometimes without context. The tools ranged from team level (e.g. how people preferred to communicate) to concept level (how to run a proposed solution against a testing rubric).
The second phase of work culminated in a strategic roadmap and a storytelling document meant to assist the leadership in communicating Mina’s vision internally as well as to the community. Both these documents are confidential, so please contact me if you’d like to learn more.
mina improvement protocol (MIP)
The Mina Improvement Protocol was teased out over several workshops by working with the leaders to put their process to paper. The workflow is a visual diagram of how anyone who is part of the Mina community can propose a change to the protocol and how that proposal will be handled by the community at-large and the internal Mina team.
The full MIP can be viewed on GitHub here.
